Speed reducer that is a later component of a side entry agitator. This product was purchased by Scientific Design Company Incorporated and used by Amoco Chemicals Corporation. Falk caption reads, "2220Y4 speed reducer ratio 585.349:1 for use with 150 hp, 1750 rpm, electric motor, unit includes oil level stand pipe, motor driven oil pump (with pressure switch) and bedplate. A 100T10 steelflex on HSS. A 270F steelflex on LSS." Male employee in photograph is identified as E. Gowan.
