Vertical Roller Mill

Norbert Winski, a Falk employee, attends to a large vertical roller mill. This unit was purchased by the Fuller Company and used by the Gresik Cement Company of Indonesia. Original Falk caption reads, "LM 30.41 vertical roller mill. Similar to the vertical roller mill drives for Allis Chalmer's MPS mill. This is the first drive like this furnished to Fuller. Service rating-1500HP, S.F. 2.0, design rating-3000HP, speeds 900 to 34.58 RPM, ratio 28.626:1, peak operating thrust load-1,912,000 pounds, normal operating thrust load-607,000 pounds."
