Mondale and Admirer

Image

Senator Walter Mondale of Minnesota was a featured speaker at an agricultural conference in Milwaukee in 1974. At the time he was exploring the feasibility of running for president. Eventually, however, he became the vice-presidential candidate on the Carter-Mondale ticket in 1976. Here, he signs an autograph for an admiring Wisconsin voter.
