A formal portrait of aviator Charles A. Lindbergh taken at the New York Times Studio just prior to his trans-Atlantic flight because the newspaper had purchased exclusive rights to Lindbergh's story. As his publicists, Harry Bruno and Richard Blythe went along to the photo shoot, and Lindbergh later inscribed the portrait to them in appreciation of their advice and protection.
