He also served as the publisher for many of the survey reports. Served as Vermont State Geologist from 1864-1870, and Missouri State Geologist from 1870-71. Handwritten text at the top and bottom of the image read, "Hager, 1862," and "A.D. Hager, 1862," respectively.
