10,000th International Scout Rolls off Assembly Line

The 10,000th International Scout built by IHC's motor truck division is driven off the final assembly line at the Fort Wayne plant by D.F. Kuntz, Divisional Sales Manager. After 90 days of public availability, production of the all-purpose Scout increased to 164 units daily from the 50 per day rate originally scheduled. The 10,000th Scout pictured here is a four-wheel drive model with Travel-Top.
