Harold McCormick

Harold McCormick, President of International Harvester 1918-1922. Harold was the son of Cyrus McCormick, inventor of the reaper. He was married three times: to Edith Rockefeller, Polish opera singer Ganna Walska, and Adah Wilson. He began his professional career with the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company in 1896 and was elected a Vice President in 1898. He continued as a Vice President after the formation of International Harvester in 1902. He succeeded his older brother Cyrus McCormick Jr. as President of the company in 1918.
