Meat Packers Parade Float
Image
A large float decorated with a farm scene and blanketed with flowers moves down a city street (possibly Michigan Avenue in Chicago). The float is part of the Meat Packers Parade, and is followed by marchers holding signs. The banner on the side of the float reads: "Of the total United States wealth, agriculture produces twelve billion dollars annually." The sign on the front reads: "Here is the source of your dinner's main course, and MEAT is the CHEAPEST in years."
