Seabees with International TD-18

Image

Seabees at Camp Rousseau train to use an International TD-18 diesel crawler tractor (TracTracTor) equipped with a bulldozer. Various vehicles and machinery are in the background. The original caption reads: "Part of the intensive training received by Seabees at Camp Rousseau, located in the Port of Hueneme area, is a thorough drilling in the operation of crawler-tractors. The illustrations show Seabees at work with International TD-18 Diesel crawler-tractor, equipped with bulldozer and demonstrating how it can be used to dig a trench, to build a mountain trail by angling the blade and to excavate burying places for fuel tanks. The pictures also show groups of white and colored Seabees receiving instruction on operation of the tractor."
