Gates of Heaven Detail

Detail on the building at 214 West Washington Avenue that, over the years, has been the first synagogue in Madison (Shaare Shomaim or Gates of Heaven), a school, a funeral parlor, a dentist office, and the Downtown Veterinary Clinic. The building cost $4000.00 and is made of cream brick and sandstone.
