Schoebel Barn

The Ken and LaVerne Schoebel farm is at W280 West Bend Road. The Schoebels purchased the property from Fred Steger on April 1, 1961 and moved onto the place in 1984.

Ken and LaVerne Schoebel have firewood stored in their barn. They will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 16, 2004.

The interior of the Schoebel barn is immaculate. The last cows milked here was in 1988. Ken was born on the property in 1931.

Jesse and Janet Paul, who live across from this barn, at W155 West Bend Road, have been here for 33 years. Jesse has been wheelchair-bound for 11 years.
