Accessing Collections
The vast majority of the items in our collections are not online. The Society owns thousands of archival collections viewable in our Archives reading room. To view and conduct research in our collections, visit us in person.
Zastrow Barn — Interior

Wally and Bonita Zastrow, who moved here in 2000, have a workshop in the loft of their barn. Elmer and Meta Zastrow were previous owners, and cows were last milked here in 1930.

LaValle Christian lives at N7411 Hwy 175 (Section 36). Her granddaughter Adela Kerske (6), and dog Chelsey posed for the picture.

Eugene and Mary live at W1422 Hwy TW. They are pictured with their granddaughter, Emily Weyer, and Chipper, their dog.
Dogs Barn — Exterior

Larry and Noreen Dogs live at N8231 Hwy P (Section P). They purchased the property in 1981. Cows were last milked here in 1956. This was the Armond Benter farm.

Judy Boeck and her pet dog, Shadow, live at N8688AY. Judy's husband, Kenny, passed away on March 25, 2002.
