Accessing Collections
The vast majority of the items in our collections are not online. The Society owns thousands of archival collections viewable in our Archives reading room. To view and conduct research in our collections, visit us in person.
Koll Barn — Interior
circa 2000-2009
Paul and Evangeline Koll have 27 stanchions in their barn. They ceased milking cows May 26, 1988.
Retzlaff Barn — Exterior
circa 2000-2009
Milton and Adeline Retzlaff live a mile west of Theresa at W1346 Hwy 28 (Section 9). The Retzlaff's, who will be married 60 years in August, last milked cows in 1969.
Weigand Barn — Exterior

Harvey and Karen Weigand live at N9577 Hwy H (Section 1).
Priestaf Barn
circa 2000-2009
Brian and Pam Priestaf live at N7887 Hwy 175 (Section 26). They have lived here for about 20 years.
Beck Barn
circa 2000-2009
Vernon and Alice Beck and son, Milan, live at W1057 Zion Church Road (Section 34). Their silo is 98 years old and the barn is 150 years old.
Lifke Barn
circa 2000-2009
Arnold and Bernice Lifke were married 59 years ago, when Arnie returned from serving in the Marine Corp in the SW Pacific. They have lived on the farm most of their married life.
