Die cut elongated octagonal menu for the 7th annual banquet of the Merchants Association at The Plankinton. On the cover is an oval portrait of a deer with antlers, a framed three-quarter view of the exterior of the hotel set at an angle, and a three-quarter view of the facade of the 1884 addition on a curled "scrap" of paper, as well as background foliage and printer's ornamentation. The inside of the menu features the intertwined initials "M" and "A," from which is suspended on a decorative bar reading, "7th Annual Banquet"; a scene of servers attending to the crowded dining room; and a fringed satin banner imprinted with the dinner menu.
