Captain William Hogbin

Captain Hogbin was born in England and trained as a tailor there. He immigrated to the United States with his parents and served in the Civil War in Company F, Eighty-eighth Illinois Volunteer Infantry. He was active in the Lucius Fairchild Post of the G.A.R. and had a tailor shop in Madison for many years.
