Mitchell at Milwaukee

General William Mitchell, with his personal airplane and Milwaukee airport manager Giles Meisenheimer at Butler Field, the first Milwaukee County airport. During the 1920s Billy Mitchell made numerous visits to Milwaukee in support of aviation in his home town. In 1941, the second Milwaukee County airport location was named in General Mitchell's honor.
