Stanley E. Bennett, a First Wisconsin National Bank cashier, listens to the handset while John T. Frymark, a Wisconsin Telephone Company central office foreman operates a monitor switch to test the Audichron. The Audichron was a machine located in the Wisconsin Telephone building at 722 N Broadway that reported the time via tape recordings when people called Broadway 1-4911 in Milwaukee. The service was sponsored by First Wisconsin National bank. In 1953, the machine fielded 3,166,305 calls.
