Portrait of Alfred C. Clas (1859-1942), Milwaukee architect whose firm designed the Wisconsin Historical Society Headquarters building. The architectural firm Ferry and Clas also designed Milwaukee's Central Library, the Pabst Mansion, and Milwaukee Hospital, among other prominent buildings.
