Governor Oscar Rennebohm outside a voting booth at the Maple Bluff village hall. At the time, the Governor's Residence was located at 130 E. Gilman Street, but Rennebohm, the wealthy founder of Rennebohm Drug Stores, Inc., owned a large house in the exclusive village of Maple Bluff. In 1949 the state purchased a new executive residence in Maple Bluff.
