Head and shoulders oval studio portrait of H.O. Hendrickson [as written on the photograph backing; also written as Henry O. Hendrikson on Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20 and on published Roster of Wisconsin Volunteers, Volume 1], a corporal in Company G, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Primrose, Wisconsin. On November 11, 1861, he enlisted and was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin on December 8, 1861 at the age of 18. He was appointed to the rank of corporal on January 1, 1862. In July 1864, he was detached in the Ambulance Corps. He was mustered out of service with Company G on January 13, 1865, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
