The Commercial National Bank building, on the corner of State and Carroll Streets, housed the bank as well as Mrs. Brown's Beauty Shoppe and Wegener and Roick Lawyers. On the right is a view down Carroll Street towards Lake Mendota. On the left down State Street among many other storefronts is the Palace Drug Store, the YWCA, and the marquee for the Orpheum Theatre.
