Throughout the room in the foreground are reading tables and chairs, a librarian's desk and card catalog. Another room beyond columns and a wood carved railing are bookshelves and a card catalog. Other items in the room are a statue of Venus De Milo, a newspaper rack, and lamps suspended from the exposed beam ceiling.
