A sculpture of cast and welded metal is of a human figure with a raven, nestled in one of the crevices. This sculpture, created by O.V. Shaffer and called "Hieroglyph," is on the roof of the Madison Public Library. On the right is a large glass window or door revealing a white wall and elevator inside the building.
