Jackson Oak

A large, spreading white oak standing in front of a fence in a snow covered open area at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum. It is named for Colonel Joseph W. Jackson, one of the founders and fundraisers for the arboretum. The oak died in the late 1990s.
