A number of Early Birds of Aviation acquaintances, men who flew solo prior to December 17, 1916, came together to honor A.P. Warner and the historical marker in his honor. From left to right: George Scragg from Cleveland, William Denehie from Chicago, Bert Hassell from Rockford, Jess Brabazon from Beloit, Charles Arens from Winamac, Indiana, and Paul Garber, curator of the National Air Museum, Washington, D.C.
