Lincoln Beachey in Sheboygan

Lincoln Beachey's Curtiss Pusher and the crates in which the airplane was transported by rail to the Sheboygan fairgrounds. At the time, Lincoln Beachey was the best and most famous American aviator. Limitations on the range of early planes and uncertain landing conditions meant that all pilots traveled with crated airplanes to the exhibition circuit.
