The illustration in the top right corner is of a man in a black jacket and blue pants advertising a suit sale. There are two illustrations in the bottom right corner: The first is "Hon. Geo. P. Prescott, Dead" in a black suit with black bow tie. The other illustration is of a rifle, pistol, creel, a periscope, and a fishing hook and lure. The masthead features the American flag on the left, a red rose in the middle, and an unidentified blue and white flag on the right.
