At many places in Wisconsin, the Interstate Highway is divided by a wide median strip that provides a scenic view for the motorist. This photograph shows a section I-90/94 in Sauk County. Such scenery was judged so picturesque to potential visitors that the state Division of Tourism took this photograph for publicity purposes.
