A retouched photographic postcard view across water towards rock formations along the St. Croix River in Interstate State Park. The caption reads: "LaCroix Sant (The Holy Cross) From Which the Explorer Du Luth Named the St Croix River in 1679." Although frequently noted, this rock formation did not play a role in the naming of the river.
