Accessing Collections
The vast majority of the items in our collections are not online. The Society owns thousands of archival collections viewable in our Archives reading room. To view and conduct research in our collections, visit us in person.
I.G. Merrill House
1860
The home of I.G. Merrill on the corner of Ann Street (now called Sheridan Road) and Prairie Avenue. A person is standing in front of the fence at the corner.
Kenosha Water Cure
1880
The Kenosha water cure on the corner of N. Main and Grand Avenue. It was built in the 1840's for educational and religious purposes. It burned down in 1900.
I.G. Merrill Home
1879
The home of I.G. Merrill, located on the corner of Ann Street (now called Sheridan Road) and Prairie Avenue, in the winter.
YMCA Building
1934
The second YMCA building in Kenosha. It was used as a commercial structure at the time of the photograph.
