Polperro House Cellar

Image

Jars of canned food are stored in the cellar of the restored Cornish miner's house, called Polperro, on Shake Rag Street. The house was temporarily covered with siding, but after restoration the siding was removed to reveal the original log construction. The building is currently owned by the Wisconsin Historical Society and is one of several structures that comprise the Pendarvis historic site.
