Ely Residence

Richard T. Ely residence, 205 North Prospect Street. This house is Georgian revival in style and was built by Richard & Anna Ely in 1896. The architect was Charles Sumner Frost. The Ely family lived there until he moved to Northwestern University. The house, according to Mrs. Anna Ely Morehouse, was one of the very first erected in the University Heights section of the city.
