Executive Residence, 130 East Gilman Street, preceded the current one in Maple Bluff. Purchased in 1882 by Governor Jeremiah M. Rusk, the legislature bought the house from Rusk in 1885 and for over sixty years it served 18 of Wisconsin's governors as the official Executive Residence.
