Madison-Kipp Corporation, 2824 Atwood Avenue entrance. The building was built in 1918 by the US government to manufacture guns for World War I. It was owned by Steinle Machine Co. after the war and used as a warehouse. The East Side Businessmen's Association held its Fall Festivals in the building in the 1920s and 30s. Ray-O-Vac used it as Plant No. 2 from 1924-28 making "A" style batteries and flashlight cases. Madison Kipp bought the building in 1936.
