Teachers' Seminary

1868-1875. Founded by Dr. Joseph Salzman (featured in the vignette at left, teaching). Vignette, lower left, features St. Francis Seminary, founded in 1856; vignette, lower right, is the St. Aemilianus Orphan Asylum. The central vignette is the Normal school. The bottom center has Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. The remaining three are of various teaching settings.
