"La Guardia" Newspaper Organizers

The underground bilingual newspaper was published in Spanish and English from 1969-1982 in Milwaukee.The newspaper was created during the time of the labor movement led by Chicano laborers' union Obreros Unidos (United Workers) to improve migrant workers rights.Organizadores del periódico "La Guardia"Roberto Hernández (a la izquierda) y Esequiel Guzmán (al centro) trabajan en la composición del periódico "La Guardia."
