Will Ferderer

Image

Two women are removing a man's shirt. Caption reads: "The Clover Leaf Squares, a Menomonee Falls group devoted to square dancing, honored one of their own over the weekend, as Will Ferderer, 54, of Watertown, marked his 30th year of calling square dances in Menomonee Falls. Ferderer has been a caller and teacher for Wisconsin square dancing clubs for 32 total years. Ferderer had his shirt removed by club members during the middle of one dance. An old tradition says that the caller must finish the [sic] calling the dance he starts, despite any distractions, so Ferderer tried but failed to stay with the song to the end."
