The document is described and signed by Alfred Topliff, surveyor, James T. Lewis, proprietor, and the Columbia County Register of Deeds, William Owen.

This manuscript plat map is ink and pencil on paper. It shows a plat of the town with local streets, and blocks and lots by number. The map includes explanatory text by the surveyor, Alfred Topliff.
