Engraving of the city of Superior and Lake Superior, also depicting railroad piers, Minnesota Point, and the steamboat "Star". The engraving appears on a letter from attorney James A. Ritchie of Superior to William P. Utley, Adjutant General of Wisconsin. The engraving and other promotional literature of the area was issued by Ritchie.
