This map shows depths in Lake Mendota and the topography of the surrounding land. Roads and streets, railroads, railroad stations, selected public buildings, springs, and wetlands are shown in Madison and the area. Seven cross-sections of the lake are also shown. The contour intervals of the lake are 5 feet; contour intervals for the land are 10 feet.
