This map, which shows the state of Wisconsin in 1906, was published as Rand, McNally & Co.'s New business atlas map of Wisconsin. Railroads, counties, cities, villages, rivers, and lakes are shown in Wisconsin, the western portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, eastern Iowa and Minnesota, and northern Illinois. A key to the names of Wisconsin railroads is printed on the map in red and an indexed list of the populations of cities appears in the left margin. "Relative importance of places shown by size of type."
