Madison Area Churches

Map

Pen and ink annotations on a printed base map show the location of churches and synagogues, as well as local streets, railroads, and parks. It covers Madison, Middleton, Shorewood Hills, Monona, Maple Bluff, McFarland, Truax Field, Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, Lake Wingra, and Lake Waubesa. Also included is a legend of church denominations; denominations are color coded, and church names are numbered. Synagogue (green triangle), Baptist (orange square), Catholic (purple square), Episcopal (blue square), Interdenominational (gray square), Presbyterian (dark red square), Lutheran (light red square), Methodist (green square), United Methodist (green circle), Wesleyan Methodist (green hexagon), United Church of Christ (pink triangle).
