Wisconsin Name Index
The Wisconsin Name Index (WNI) is a searchable index of names found in various collections in the Library. These include:
- About 150 county and local histories
- Dozens of professional directories and biographical encyclopedias
- More than 60 scrapbooks containing 30,000 obituaries from the “Wisconsin Necrology” scrapbooks
- Selected articles from Wisconsin magazines and newspapers
Most items were published from 1870-1970.
