Southern Builders was the builder. A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. 2023: In 1967, Emory Clark, of Clark's Super Gas, purchased the former Greyhound Building, as well as the eastern half of the adjoining block. The following year, in partnership with the Downtowner Corporation of Memphis, Tennessee, he constructed a 10-story motor inn (AHI #113828).
