This house contributes to the architectural significance of the proposed Jefferson Avenue Historic District as an interesting example of the Tudor Revival style. The house has the steeply-pitched gable roof and half-timber detail typical of the style. The wood shingled walls are unusual, but meant to give the house an English Cottage appearance. Charles was a department manager at the Chevrolet Motor Company. |
