| Additional Comments |
This large Twentieth Century Commercial Style building has had its display windows altered but is otherwise largely intact. It is one-story tall with a three-bay-wide facade. The bays are framed with pilaster strips and the whole facade is crowned by a single stepped parapet wall. This building was surveyed in conjunction with a Section 106 survey of STH 15 (WisDOT # 6430-06-00). SANBORN MAPS SHOW THAT THIS BUILDING WAS BUILT BETWEEN 1909 AND 1923 AND THAT IT HOUSED AN AUTOMOBILE GARAGE IN 1923. |
