A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. Another map code for this building is WT 20/18, found on the DOT West Bend map. This one and one half story side gabled house features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a stucco and clapboard exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled gable roof. Stucco covers the formerly fieldstone exterior walls. The gothic windows have twice been enlarged. The fieldstone house, used as a convent, is associated with Father Rehrl and the Sisters of St. Agnes. It is part of a group of buildings, including a rectory (WT 20/19), a convent (WT 48/6), and a barn (WT 48/5). Owned by the Washington County Historical Society, run as a historic site. |
