| Additional Comments |
2007- THIS IS A LARGELY INTACT, SIMPLE, ITALIANATE STYLE, RECTILINEAR PLAN, TWO-STORY-TALL RECTORY THAT SITS ON A TALL CUT STONE FOUNDATION AND WHICH HAS EXTERIOR WALLS CLAD IN CREAM BRICK. THE MAIN FACADE FACES EAST ONTO FOREST VIEW RD. AND BOTH IT AND THE NORTH-FACING SIDE ELEVATION STILL RETAIN THEIR SIMPLE BUT ORIGINAL GABLE-ROOFED ENTRANCE PORCHES. THE BUILDING IS ESSENTIALLY INTACT BUT THE ORIGINAL WINDOWS APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN REPLACED, ALTERATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE TO A BAY WINDOW ON THE SOUTH-FACING SIDE ELEVATION, AND A LARGE MODERN TWO-CAR GARAGE HAS BEEN ATTACHED TO THE REAR OF THE RECTORY. THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED ON A LARGE CORNER PARCEL THAT ALSO CONTAINS THE MODERN ST. MAICHAEL'S R.C. CHURCH AND IT SITS WELL BACK FROM STH 28. |
