Additional Comments
THIS BRICK DOUBLE BLOCK WAS BUILT PRIOR TO 1904 AND AT THAT TIME IT WAS A ROMANESQUE REVIVAL STYLE BUILDING THAT HAD A CHAMFERED CORNER THAT FACED INTO THE CENTRAL AVE./MAIN ST. INTERSECTION. BETWEEN 1919 AND 1929, HOWEVER, THE STORE NEAREST THE INTERSECTION BECAME THE STATE BANK OF OCONTO FALLS AND THIS PART OF THE BUILDING WAS GIVEN THE LIMESTONE-CLAD NEOCLASSICAL REVIVAL STYLE FACADE THAT IT STILL HAS TODAY.
