| Additional Comments | Another map code for this building is DO 1/7, found on the DOT Watertown map. This one and one half story side gabled house features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a stucco foundation, a brick exterior, a wood trim and a shingled gable roof. Modern siding was applied to the brick surface in c. 1990. Greek Revival details, much of which is now covered by the siding, included a denticluated cornice, a brick frieze and cornice returns. Also covered by the siding were heavy moulded lintels and projecting sills, all of which embellished the one-over-one windows on the brick structure. A frame gabled wing was added to the rear of this structure. The front porch, also a later addition, has its roof supported by wrought iron posts. |
